Press Release

F/X signs marketing agreement with Nortel Networks.

Holbaek, October 31, 2000 - F/X Communications in conjunction with Nortel Networks' Contivity VPN Switch now offers enterprises a VPN solution for OS/2-based clients.

F/X Communications' InJoy OS/2 connectivity products now support integrated IPSec client software which interoperates with the Contivity VPN Switch Release 2.6 and later. This enables OS/2 users to securely connect across the Internet and take advantage of Contivity's VPN services.

"This is excellent news for enterprises relying on OS/2 as part of their network", said Jonathan Lewis, Nortel Networks Contivity Product Manager.

Mr. Lewis continues, "The InJoy product enables Contivity to extend its IPSec client support beyond the traditional base of MS-Windows users, allowing a larger community of users to benefit from Contivity's VPN capabilties".

With our robust and proven VPN technologies, F/X Communications is working closely with Nortel to maintain a secure and future-proofed software option for OS/2 businesses, said Bjarne Jensen, President of F/X Communications. And because of our mutual strategic relationship with Nortel, we can now ensure our customers the most viable security solution for OS/2.

Special notice for customer prospects: The Nortel CES must be specifically configured to support third party IPSec clients, and accordingly you must have access to the Nortel side of the configuration in order to set up a successful test.
