Japanese Giant ITOCHU TECHNO-SCIENCE Corporation (CTC) chooses FX's IPSec VPN Enabling Technology to develop new business.

Holbaek, November 14, 2004 - FX Communications announced today that Tokyo-based ITOCHU TECHNO-SCIENCE Corporation (CTC), a leading provider of total computing solutions in Japan and the Asia/Pacific area, has selected FX's IPSec VPN enabling technology.

CTC is part of ITOCHU Corporation (www.itochu.co.jp), one of Japan's leading trading companies with annual sales exceeding $114 billion and currently ranked 10th in Fortune Magazines Global 500 list. ITOCHU Corporation has over 800 subsidiaries and associated companies worldwide and is engaged in a wide variety of business, including information technologies and aerospace.

"We were looking to add a full range of professional IPSec/VPN services to a sizable IPv6 trial system for one of Japan's leading telecommunication companies.

In our extensive search for the most suitable IPSec development toolkit we came across several competent solutions and yet, as we advanced into the toolkit evaluation phase, FX proved unique in a number of ways.

The IPSec Toolkit from FX Communications has an attractive design and its features perfectly matched our requirements. As a matter of fact, even though we initially were at a loss about our decision and concerned with the expense, then by chance, all the pieces came together when we found FX.

Moreover, unlike any other vendor, all the concrete facts and detailed technical information we needed was readily available on the FX web-site. For any additional information, our e-mails were answered quickly and accurately.

At this point, following several meetings with FX in Denmark, we have started development of the project and we remain fully confident that FX's IPSec enabling technology will help us facilitate our future expansion into the enterprise IPSec/VPN market.", said Hidetoshi Satomi, General Manager of ITOCHU TECHNO-SCIENCE Corporation (CTC), Japan.

The IPSec/VPN Development Toolkit meets the demands that wireless services place on network security, with an architecture designed to offer scalability and flexibility for even the most sophisticated topologies. By implementing the IPSec VPN security component into new networking software, customers get a one-stop solution to construct intrinsically safe networks from the beginning - using standards-based, cross-platform interoperable technology.

"In addition to proving the resourcefulness of our software, we believe CTC's decision cements the value of IPSec, as the industry's No. 1 security solution for current and next-generation networks. We are grateful and tremendously excited to help CTC in their inventive use of our software, with which CTC is actively planning sophisticated new services.", said Bjarne Jensen, CEO, FX Communications.

Mr. Jensen continues, "Combining FX's software with CTC's global market presence provides excellent opportunities for both companies, as well as allowing FX customers to remain confident in the future of the product".
