Using the InJoy Dialer, John Tat of VIT demonstrated the solution to a regional Cisco Security Engineer and Cisco approved the test as being successful. Following is the comment from the Cisco Security Engineer: "This was to verify that the F/X OS/2 VPN Client is functionally compatible with Cisco IOS and PIX. IPSec features such as "mode config" and "X-Auth" were successfully tested with the InJoy VPN Client", said Watson Poon, Security Engineer, Cisco Systems. Effective immediately, all Cisco International Sales Representatives will refer their clients to the InJoy solution for any interests in providing VPN connectivity for their OS/2 platform. Both VIT and F/X Communications are extremely excited about this new development and with Cisco Systems representing more than 70 percent of the VPN market, we feel honoured to enter this partnership.
