Strategic Alliance :: Cisco Systems F/X Communications and Canadian based VIT have worked together with Cisco Systems to create an interoperable VPN solution for their OS/2-based enterprise clients. Cisco has tested and approved the solution and Cisco International Sales Representatives are now able to market and support the InJoy IPSec clients to their customers.. This was to verify that the F/X OS/2 VPN Client is functionally compatible with Cisco IOS and PIX. IPSec features such as mode config and X-Auth were successfully tested with the InJoy VPN Client. The InJoy products enable Contivity to extend its IPSec client support beyond the traditional base of MS-Windows users, allowing a larger community of users to benefit from Contivity's VPN capabilties. Cedros is a licensee of the InJoy IPSec toolkit, which IPSec enables their WebRoute product. Cedros covers the German market and has worked closely with F/X Communications. Due to their professional attitude and good understanding of our requirements, F/X was able to supply us an IPSec Toolkit, which helped us to enhance our own product to be a market leader.
