Injoy Firewall for Linux - Linux Firewall

InJoy Firewall for Linux

As scores of Windows users and businesses come in contact with Linux for the first time, the importance of a supported, reliable and interoperable security solution is underscored.

Not all users are blessed with the privilege to combine Linux's many technologies into complete solutions. The Multi-OS InJoy Firewall™ provides the industry's first fully integrated gateway, firewall and VPN solution, in one easy-to-use product.
The InJoy Firewall™ provides Linux users with the same user interface, the same protocols and the same strength on all OS platforms, making the transition to Linux painless.

Linux Firewall - InJoy Firewall™ Benefits

Whether you use Linux on dedicated Internet Servers or on desktop machines, the InJoy firewall™ provides a number of benefits on Linux:

Supported Without question, the Linux Operating System provides a proven and cost-effective platform, as well as a wealth of high-quality open source software. For business use, however, it often proves difficult to find supported linux firewall solutions that provide the required level of confidence, reliability and trust. With the InJoy Firewall™, businesses can benefit from Linux without having to give up the safety of a responsible vendor and a traditional business relationship.
Unique enterprise-class security Security as never before — the InJoy Firewall™ for Linux provides customers with next generation intrusion and anomaly detection. These technologies provides network administrators with the ultimate tools to keep track of network activity and eliminate Internet threats of any type.
Cost-saving convenience As a busy and responsible network administrator, you will find great relief in the InJoy Firewall™. As the only Linux firewall, it is designed from the ground up to be self-contained, thus ensuring optimal performance and minimum impact from third-party problems. This means you don't have to worry about dependencies with Linux connectivity software, software libraries or compile kernels.
Remote [GUI] administration Manage your remote Linux-based Firewall Server from your Windows-based desktop (or any other supported Operating Systems), using the intuitive InJoy firewall™ GUI. Linux users that prefer plain-text configuration can opt for that with the InJoy firewall™ as well.
Interoperability The InJoy firewall™ works the same under all the supported operating systems, meaning you can deploy a complete and unified protection strategy throughout the business and effortlessly set up fully capable VPNs without having to worry about interoperability issues.
Easy Installation The InJoy firewall™ installs in minutes and can be prepared for distributed, company-wide deployment, using the same simple installation scripts everywhere.

Compatibility with existing Linux security

Tux - Linux-Based Firewall

At the core of the InJoy firewall™ architecture is a network device driver that intercepts all traffic before delivering it to the Operating System. This approach gives security at the frontier level, even before potentially vulnerable code in the Linux kernel is exposed to the traffic. The InJoy firewall™ provides Linux users with a flexible self-contained solution that separately integrates all the features required for successful and easy deployment.

As a major benefit, the InJoy firewall™ does not prevent the operation of the built-in Linux IPTABLES/NetFilter security features. In other words, since the InJoy Firewall™ uses its own high-performance device driver and an out-of-the-kernel firewall process, the built-in Linux Firewall can co-exist perfectly with the InJoy Firewall™.

In addition, because of the modular architecture of the InJoy firewall™, you can enable just the features you need.
